Teaching materials to be added
To study the cognition and learning needs (including moderate and severe learning difficulties and Dyslexia) of people with limited health abilities. Introducing students with the basic concepts of cognition and learning disabilities, types of these disabilities, including dyslexia and inclusive practices in Kazakhstan, and their difference. Essential practices and methods using in teaching students with such kind of disabilities in learning process.
The module guides lecturers in the development of curricula for students with cognition and learning needs.

The aim of Meeting Needs – Communication and Interaction module is to be aware of the impact of curricular adaptation on the inclusion of people with SEND into higher education. During this module, we will critically analyze communication and interaction strategies that are consider to be effective for higher education. We will evaluate the feasibility of the curricular adaptation models to specific, national contexts.
The discipline “Meeting Needs – Communication and Interaction” is intended for trainees with disabilities in higher educational institutions, NGO and government sectors educational institutions.
