At Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi was organized a seminar regarding on the status of the implementation of the DECIDE project for students with disabilities. Within the framework of the seminar Sherzod Gulomov-local project coordinator, made a presentation.
Higher education is an essential element of the complex integration of people with disabilities into society. Ensuring equal opportunities in obtaining education for students with disabilities is an important component of the implementation of the principles of their independent life. Education of persons with disabilities is one of the priority areas of the education system of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Our goal today is for students with disabilities to know their rights in society, not be afraid to contact teachers or specialists with questions that concern them, shared Sherzod Gulomov.
During the project implementation period, 8 modules will be implemented to improve the quality of education for students with disabilities, said Sherzod Gulomov. In his speech, he also briefly explained all 8 modules that are being implemented as part of the project.
Expected results from project
The meeting is aimed at creating an educational environment within the framework of the project that ensures the accessibility and quality of education for all students with disabilities, taking into account the peculiarities of their psychophysical development at all levels of education.
